for Tenants, Housing Providers, and Community Organizations
Webinar
Are you interested in understanding just how Indiana’s eviction sealing process has changed since July 1st, 2025? Are you looking for ways to educate your community and/or tenants about this new provision of Indiana’s eviction sealing law and also learn more in the process?
Prosperity Indiana, in partnership with Indiana Legal Services (ILS) and the Indiana Bar Foundation’s Indiana Legal Help (IBF) hosted a webinar, Getting the Most from Indiana’s New Eviction Sealing Law for Tenants, Housing Providers, and Community Organizations on August 25th.
On July 1st, 2025, Indiana’s new eviction sealing bill took effect. Indiana tenants will benefit from significant improvements to the state’s eviction sealing law through Senate Enrolled Act 142 (Public Law 128), which streamlines the process for removing eviction records and expands eligibility for relief. This webinar explains how Indiana’s new eviction sealing process has been streamlined to make the process of removing eviction records easier for Indiana’s tenant population. The webinar includes key resources to help tenants and front-line organizations implement this new provision of the law and increase awareness in Hoosier communities. The webinar is delivered by subject matter experts in Housing Law, Legal Aid, Advocacy, Policy, and Affordable Housing.
Speakers include:
Andrew Bradley, Prosperity Indiana, Senior Director of Policy and Strategy
Jennifer Terry, Indiana Legal Services, Staff Attorney
Mike Commons, Indiana Bar Foundation, Indiana Legal Help Manager
